In the midst of life, close to people: In our film series, we present impressive REWE Group retailers – strong personalities who have led their stores to success with their individual signature and a common sales concept.
Their stories are as diverse as they are – and yet they are united by a common foundation of values that is deeply rooted in the cooperative tradition of REWE Group. Today’s portrait: Daniel Dugandzic.
We work in our companies, on our companies, with each other.
This is how Daniel Dugandzic describes his work as an independent rettailer at REWE Group and in the cooperative. He started at REWE headquarters in 2008 and worked in various positions there before finally switching to the retailers department. There he discovered how much fun the job was and decided: I want to do that too!
Portrait of Daniel Dugandzic
Daniel Dugandzic on his path to becoming a REWE retailer and the importance of the cooperative.
He and his brother now successfully run four stores in Cologne and the surrounding area. In these stores, they regularly present their customers with exciting innovations – both in terms of product range and technology. This is only possible thanks to the cooperative, says Daniel Dugandzic.
The cooperative combines a wide range of expertise that retailers can benefit from, for example to further develop their stores, obtain expertise or network. This also minimizes the risk of independence, as REWE Group retailers operate under the umbrella of a large and stable community.
