    The REWE Group’s Policy Team provides information and advice on trade policy at our offices in the heart of Berlin. We are experts in food retail policy and German and European tourism policies. We engage in straightforward, transparent discussion with policy-makers, civil society, farmers and consumers to define conditions for sustainable future trade and represent the interests of our 390,000 colleagues in Germany and Europe. We have a particular commitment to our 1,700 independent retailers who take responsibility for our customers, colleagues and products on the shop floor.

  • Why openness is important to us

    As the REWE Group’s Public Affairs team, we represent the interests of our company and its over 390,000 employees, present our perspective to policy makers, and provide political feasibility analyses. We work transparently and do not make backroom deals. We are open and above board when arranging meetings between ourselves, our colleagues in specialist departments, and ministries or parliamentary representatives. Registrations in the Lobbying Register of the German Bundestag and the EU Transparency Register have been made accordingly.
