Therefore, the REWE Group Code of Conduct conveys seven fundamental values and explains what they mean for REWE Group. It outlines guidelines for dealing with competitors, provides advice on the protection of data and company property and explains how conflicts of interest can arise (and how to deal with them). It illustrates how destructive corruption is and shows how to fight it. It also emphasises the social and societal responsibility of each individual – including in the workplace.
Our compliance tip process guarantees a trustworthy and simultaneously transparent approach to dealing with compliance tips. In principle, tips refer to the actions of REWE Group and its employees. A tip becomes a “compliance tip” if there are reasonable grounds to suspect a breach of regulations or a criminal offence. Corruption offences in particular cause considerable damage – not just to REWE Group but also to society. Compliance tips can be submitted by internal employees as well as by external stakeholders.
