REWE Group extends contract with Digital&Technology Management Board member Christoph Eltze

Cologne. REWE Group is extending the contract with Digital & Technology Management Board member Christoph Eltze until 2029. Eltze was appointed to the REWE Group Management Board on 1 July 2022 and has been responsible for Digitalisation & Technology since then. Eltze was previously responsible for Digital, Customer & Analytics and IT as Divisional Management Board Member for Retail Germany.

Lionel Souque, CEO of REWE Group, explained: Christoph Eltze is a committed member of the Management Board team and is driving forward the Digital & Technology area, which is very important for our business models, thus creating essential conditions for innovation, greater efficiency and group-wide synergies in this strategically important field. As part of our Executive Board team, he stands for passion and expertise. We have become a well-rehearsed team in our proven cooperation to date and are focussing on continuity. I would like to sincerely thank the Supervisory Board of REWE Group for the trust it has placed in us.
