“akzenta” currently operates seven well-positioned supermarkets, each with 2,000 to 3,500 square metres of retail space. The wide selection of products and the high-quality fresh produce available at the stores attract customers from far beyond the Wuppertal region.
“akzenta”, based in Wuppertal since 1976, operates seven supermarkets in the Wuppertal districts of Barmen, Elberfeld, Steinbeck and Vohwinkel, as well as in Witten and Heiligenhaus. In June 2023, another store was added at Phoenix See in Dortmund. The focus of the diverse food selection is on fresh produce: around 500 types of cheese, around 500 sausage specialities and around 350 top-quality meat products fulfil demanding customer wishes. In addition, the friendliness of the staff and the special service concept convince customers.
