Location-specific product ranges and individual store design
The local stores are designed so that, with their location-specific product ranges, they optimally meet the individual needs of people in the respective neighbourhood. Architecturally and in terms of design, too, the stores are not standard solutions: In harmony with the cityscape, building architecture and commercial use, REWE utilises architectural freedom to give each store its own character. Wide aisles, low shelves, modern, attractive furnishings and numerous services ensure a high level of comfort for both shopping and spending time in-store.
A pioneer in online grocery retail
In addition to shopping in ‘traditional’ stores, customers have also been able to order groceries online at rewe.de since 2011. REWE is the first food retailer in Germany to combine an online shop with a delivery and collection service.
