The cooperatively organised REWE Group is one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe. In 2022, the company generated a total external revenue of 84.8 billion euros. Founded in 1927, REWE Group has some 384,000 employees and operates in Germany and other European countries.

Sales lines include the supermarkets and consumer stores REWE, REWE CENTER, BILLA, BILLA PLUS, and ADEG, the discounter PENNY, IKI, BIPA drug stores, and toom Baumarkt DIY stores. The Group also includes REWE To Go convenience stores as well as its e-commerce activities, the REWE delivery service and ZooRoyal. The Lekkerland Group is the REWE Group business unit responsible for distribution to convenience stores. Coming under the umbrella of the DER Touristik Group, tourism includes tour operators DERTOUR, ITS, Meiers Weltreisen, Kuoni, Helvetic Tours, ITS Coop Travel, Billa Travel, Koning Aap, Exim Tours, Fischer, and more than 2,300 travel agencies (including, DERTOUR, DERPART, Kuoni, Exim, Fischer, and franchise and cooperation partners), the hotel chains Sentido, Aldiana, Calimera, and Cooee, as well as the online travel portal Prijsvrij Vakanties.
