Cologne, 2. July 2025<\/span><\/b> – REWE Group is reorganizing key management personnel and thus specifically strengthening its organizational development and strategic orientation in the areas of stationary retail, international expansion and digital transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  • Jochen Vogel will become the new CEO of toom hardware store on July 1, 2025. July 2025 new Chairman of the Managing Directors of toom hardware store<\/span>, <\/span>Ren\u00e9 <\/span>Ha\u00dffeld<\/span> is leaving REWE Group at his own request following a successful handover on 31. July 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • Jan Karrasch is taking over the position of CFO at toom hardware store from Martin <\/span>Czoske<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • Andreas <\/span>Persigehl<\/span> will become the new Chairman of the Executive Board on September 1, 2025. September 2025 as the new Chairman of the Management Board of REWE Region North.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • Markus Geyer becomes CEO of BIPA International and at the same time remains spokesman of the managing directors of BIPA Austria.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Jochen Vogel becomes new CEO of toom Baumarkt DIY store<\/h2>\n

    Jochen Vogel will take over as CEO of toom Baumarkt on July 1, 2025. He succeeds Ren\u00e9 Ha\u00dffeld, who will dedicate himself to new professional challenges after a handover phase on July 31, 2025.<\/span> Vogel has extensive experience in the trading business: He has headed the REWE Region North since 2016 and previously held various management positions at PENNY as well as Aldi in England. In his new role as Divisional Director, he will report to Christoph Eltze, Group Management Board member of REWE Group. REWE Group would like to thank Ren\u00e9 Ha\u00dffeld for his many years of successful work at toom hardware store and his significant contribution to the further development of the company.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Jan Karrasch succeeds Martin Czoske as CFO of toom hardware store<\/h2>\n

    During the course of 2025, Jan Karrasch, currently managing director at the REWE digital subsidiary <\/span>paymenttools<\/span>, new CFO of toom Baumarkt hardware store, succeeding Martin <\/span>Czoske<\/span>, who will turn to new professional tasks after a transition phase in the fourth quarter. Karrasch has in-depth financial expertise, including as CFO of IKI Lithuania and many years as Head of Finance and Controlling at REWE digital.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Andreas Persigehl takes over management of REWE Region North<\/h2>\n

    About September 1, 2025, Andreas <\/span><\/span>Persigehl<\/span>will take over as Chairman of the Management Board of REWE Region Nord on 1 September 2025 and will report to REWE Group Management Board member Peter Maly. <\/span>Persigehl<\/span> has already held various management positions at REWE Group – including sales department manager in the Northern Region and, most recently, managing director at BIPA in Austria, where he provided important impetus in the areas of Sustainability and Digitalization.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    International expansion of BIPA: New structure with BIPA International<\/h2>\n

    The successful drugstore chain BIPA continues to grow: in addition to its home market of Austria and the established market of Croatia, BIPA is now also expanding into Romania. The new organizational unit BIPA International is founded to improve management.<\/span> Markus Geyer, currently Spokesman of the Managing Directors of BIPA Austria, will additionally take over the function of CEO BIPA International as of September 1, 2025. In future, he will be responsible for the cross-border positioning and expansion of the BIPA brand and will report to Marcel Haraszti, Divisional Director Retail International.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Daniela Reumann joins the managing directors of BIPA Austria<\/h2>\n

    At the same time, Daniela Reumann will take over the sales department, construction technology and supply chain management at BIPA Austria. She succeeds Andreas <\/span>Persigehl<\/span> and brings with her many years of experience in purchasing, product range development and sales development. Her career within REWE Group began in 2005 in Central Purchasing.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
