Cologne\/Frankfurt, 12 December 2024: DERTOUR Hotel Division continues to invest in the premium club brand Aldiana and acquires two exclusive resorts in Spain and Italy. With effect from year-end, the DERTOUR Hotel Division is taking over the former LABRANDA Rocca Nettuno Tropea hotel from the FTI Group. Aldiana is thus expanding its portfolio with an exclusive resort in Calabria, the southernmost region of the Italian mainland. The club has been bookable for holidays since 10 December.
\nThe DERTOUR Hotel Division is also acquiring the popular Aldiana Club in Andalusia, Spain, which has been an integral part of the club portfolio since 1998. This means that a total of four of the eleven Aldiana resorts are now owned and operated. With these two acquisitions in the holiday destinations of Italy and Spain, which are so popular with our guests, we are consistently pursuing our strategy of sustainable growth with the Aldiana brand and offering our guests a high-quality club experience,<\/q> explains Karl J. Pojer, CEO of the DERTOUR Group Hotel Division. We are making further investments in exclusive club resorts in outstanding locations. Situated on a rocky plateau overlooking the sea: The Aldiana Club Rocca Nettuno Calabria<\/h2>\n

The new Aldiana Club Rocca Nettuno Calabria is located on a rocky plateau above the beach of Tropea with sweeping views of the sea, nestled in a Mediterranean garden that extends in terraces towards the sea. The historic centre of Tropea is just over a kilometre away and Lamezia Terme airport is around 60 kilometres away. Equipped with 290 rooms, the “Adults friendly” club has a pool as the centrepiece of the complex, a buffet restaurant with a large outdoor terrace, a beach restaurant, several bars, an open theatre, a spa, a variety of sports facilities, a lift to the beach and a boutique.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Green park with typical local architecture: Aldiana Club Andalusia<\/h2>\n

The popular Aldiana Club Andalusia is nestled in a 30,000 m2 park-like garden and designed in the style of an Andalusian village. The family-friendly club offers its guests 280 rooms and is located on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the Costa de la Luz, “Playa La Barrosa”. Jerez de la Frontera Airport is around 50 minutes away by car. Holidaymakers will find the right mix for a successful holiday with a varied sports programme, relaxation offers in the Welldiana Club Spa and high-quality cuisine.<\/p>\n

Club brand on course for growth <\/h2>\n

Since the complete takeover of the Aldiana Group in 2022, the DERTOUR Group has laid the foundation for the further expansion of the premium brand: in 2023, the Aldiana Club Side Beach opened in T\u00fcrkiye and the Aldiana Clubs Ampflwang and Fuerteventura were acquired. In November 2024, the Aldiana Club Zanzibar Kwanza off the coast of East Africa opened as the first Aldiana Club on the long-haul route. Further club openings in Austria and Egypt will follow by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
