Today&#8217;s portrait: toom retailer Theodoros Lazaridis.<\/p>\n<p>Uncomplicated, fast, close support &#8211; these are the words Theodoros Lazaridis uses to describe his path to self-employment at toom. in 2024, the family man opened his first Baumarkt hardware store near Stuttgart, making him one of around 30 retailers at toom. The cooperative has contributed significantly to his success, as it offers security, stability and experience, making it easier for him to become self-employed. In addition, the cooperative structures of REWE GROUP enable sustainable growth because we invest in the future of our members &#8211; like a family that supports each other.<\/p>\n<p>With around 300 stores in its portfolio, 18,000 employees and gross sales of around 3 billion euros, toom is one of the leading providers in the German DIY sector.
