Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed colleagues<\/h2>\n

We live in a time rife with political and economic challenges. The work we do is overshadowed by conflict and uncertainty. Especially in times like these, an important question arises: Who will take responsibility \u2013 even when the going gets tough? For us at REWE Group, the answer is clear. We are a co-operative. Responsibility is part of everything we do.<\/p>\n

We value stability, standing by our customers, and having a long-term mindset. We didn\u2019t wait and see, we invested. In good prices. In improved services. In digital offerings. And in the future of our company. We exceeded the 100 billion euro revenue mark for the first time. This is more than just a number for us.<\/p>\n

Above all, it shows the trust that is placed in us. This trust comes from people. Not only from our customers, but of course also from our 380,000 employees and our independent retailers. They take responsibility every day. For our customers, for their teams and for their regions. Their commitment, their attitude and their closeness to people make all the difference. I am so grateful for that! But we must not rest upon our laurels \u2013 we must keep looking ahead.<\/p>\n

We will continue to invest consistently in the coming years: In a better customer experience, in training and further education. In logistics and technology. In modern stores and new ideas. As a cooperative, we do not think in quarters, but always in generations. In short: We\u2019re keeping at it \u2013 reliable, courageous and with clarity of purpose.<\/p>\n
