Art and culture bring our cities to life. They foster connections, inspire people, and open up new perspectives. At the same time, many cultural institutions and independent cultural practitioners face major financial challenges. Through the Cologne Cultural Fund, we aim to help safeguard cultural diversity in Cologne and create new opportunities for growth within the independent arts scene. The fund supports cultural practitioners in accessing federal and EU grants and bringing additional funding to the city.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

In this way, we aim to make more cultural projects possible. At the same time, this is an invitation to other companies to join us in supporting Cologne as a cultural hub. Together with the City of Cologne and the K\u00f6lner Kulturrat e.V., we are establishing the Cologne Cultural Fund. It supports cultural actors in the independent arts scene in demonstrating the necessary matching funds required for federal and EU grant programs and in securing additional funding for Cologne.<\/p>\n

After all, many good projects fail not because of the idea itself, but because they lack the financial prerequisites for funding. This is precisely the gap we aim to bridge.<\/p>\n

At the same time, we see the Cologne Cultural Fund as an invitation to other companies to take responsibility for our city\u2019s cultural life. Culture is a shared responsibility. The more partners get involved, the greater the impact on Cologne.<\/p>\n

The independent arts scene makes an important contribution to creativity, innovation, and cultural diversity in our city. With the Cultural Fund, we aim to help strengthen its development in a sustainable way and make cultural ideas a reality \u2014 for artists, for Cologne, and for the people who experience culture.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n
