Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed colleagues<\/h2>\n

One thing did not change in 2024: The world continues to face challenges.\u00a0 Challenges to our society and our shared future. Political developments often have direct consequences for the economy. The conflicts in Ukraine, Israel and Gaza show that we need peaceful solutions and effective cooperation at the international level.<\/p>\n

There was another constant in 2024: The REWE GROUP takes responsibility, particularly in difficult times. The changes currently taking place are driving us forward. They give us an opportunity to create something new and become better. The past year showed once again what we stand for as a cooperative: Rolling up our sleeves, getting to work and shaping the future. We have confronted the difficulties head-on and remain strong and steadfast. As a driving force for economic growth in Germany and Europe. That is something we can all be proud of.<\/p>\n

The fact that we have such good new to share is thanks first and foremost to our 380,000 employees. You make the REWE GROUP what it is. Day after day. And you have my thanks.<\/p>\n

And, as always, we are looking to the future: We are committed to making further major investments in the coming years. For our millions of customers, for our employees and for our retailers. We can promise you that we will continue exactly as before.<\/p>\n

    Sports Bring People Together: Inclusion Right in the Heart of the Neighborhood<\/h3>\n

    What\u2019s it like to play wheelchair basketball? Florian S\u00f6rensen, manager of the sales department, tried it out for himself at the inclusive family sports festival in Berlin-Reinickendorf in early July. A few meters away, European Para-Badminton Champion Rick Hellmann was playing with guests. Fifty meters away, children were climbing a tower made of empty water crates, while at the many other booths, people were discussing the theme of the day: the self-determined participation of people with disabilities in social life.<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/a>\n<\/div>\n <\/li>\n

    CSD 2026: Take a Stand. Embrace Diversity.<\/h3>\n

    Together with our LGBTIQ employee network, DITO, we are once again participating in numerous Christopher Street Days and Pride events this year. For the first time, we\u2019ll have trucks in six German cities, and we\u2019re also supporting numerous regional Pride events as well as initiatives organized by our regional offices and retailers.
