    Why do you think a World Milk Day is needed?<\/h2>\n
    \n

    Once a year, World Milk Day reminds us what a valuable and versatile food milk is. It is full of important nutrients and can be processed into a variety of delicious products, such as yoghurt and cheese. Dairy farming in Germany is characterized by family farms and contributes to a secure supply of high-quality, healthy and regional food. It also makes an important contribution to landscape conservation and biodiversity.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n

    To mark World Milk Day, you are organizing two campaigns together with PENNY and the REWE Group’s Competence Center for Agriculture. What have you planned?<\/h2>\n
    \n

    On Saturday, May 31, our farmers from Die faire Milch will be in front of ten PENNY stores throughout Germany to talk directly to customers about their work. Our cooperation with PENNY and our joint product Die faire Milch x Milprima will play a major role in this.<\/p>\n

    On World Milk Day itself, two farm festivals will take place in Neum\u00fcnster and Hilpoltstein in Bavaria at our “Die faire Milch” farmers. Here, too, we will be joining forces with PENNY and the REWE Group’s Competence Center for Agriculture to provide information about our cooperation, which has been in place since October 2024. Above all, however, there will be a colorful program for families. Visitors will be able to experience agriculture on site, visit the farms and enjoy a great Sunday with lots of highlights!<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n

    You are referring to the product “Die faire Milch x Milprima”, which was launched at PENNY stores across Germany last fall. How has the cooperation and the first nationwide three-party contract in this form been received in the industry?<\/h2>\n
    \n

    With the tripartite agreement, we have succeeded in sending an important signal to the entire industry. We have demonstrated that it is possible for milk producers to negotiate terms on an equal footing. This was an absolute first. The use of the milk marker index for cost calculation is now also recognized and, for the first time, ensures scientific and, above all, transparent disclosure of the costs of milk production. The result works! The first product, UHT milk, has been very well received and shows that even a discounter like PENNY can successfully and credibly position itself with a fair and regional product range.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n <\/ul>\n\n
