REWE Group named Top Employer Germany 2016

Certification second year in a row is proof of consistent employee focus

The REWE Group has been certified by the Top Employers Institute as Top Employer Germany 2016 for its exceptional employee focus. In order to be eligible, the Group had to successfully pass a six-stage certification programme. This was a standardized assessment process in which independent experts evaluated and then audited employee development opportunities with regard to talent strategy, personnel planning, onboarding of new employees, training and development, performance management, executive development, career and succession planning, compensations and benefits, and corporate culture. The REWE Group was previously certified as Top Employer Germany 2015. The certification company, Top Employers Institute – formerly known as the CRF Institute – is headquartered in the Netherlands and has recognised Top Employers around the world since 1991. Steffen Neefe, Top Employers Institute Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, said: “The best employee conditions are those in which people develop both in their private and professional lives. Our detailed assessment showed that the REWE Group has created an excellent employee environment and offers a wide range of creative initiatives.
