Cooee [ku:‘i:]

Enjoy, relax, together

The expression, pronounced [kuːˈiː], is an Australian Aborigine word which means something like: “I’m here, where are you?” For hundreds of years, the “cooee” call has connected Aborigines with one another. Since understanding and communication play a vital role in COOEE Hotels, the expression now connects people from all over the world. It’s fitting, then, that one of the four pillars on which the concept of the hotel is built is Linked: Every hotel offers high-speed internet access free of charge throughout the entire complex, tablets to loan, and USB ports in most of the rooms. The guest portfolio, MyCOOEE, is another digital highlight that provides guests with additional entertainment, service and information. The other three pillars of the COOEE concept are Comfy, Yummy, and Relaxed.

COOEE hotels - of which there are around 45, all in the 3- to 5-star segment - can be booked through ITS, Jahn Reisen, Dertour and Meier’s Weltreisen. The different destinations range from the Mediterranean region, the Dominican Republic and Mexico, to Mauritius, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia.
Since winter 2017/2018, the COOEE call has also echoed through the mountains! Until then, the focus had only been on lots of sun and sand but three amazing COOEE alpin hotels, situated in Austria, have since joined the group.
