MSC

The independent and nonprofit organisation Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) has established a global environmental standard for evaluating fisheries. Products which come from a certified fishery and fulfil the requirements laid down in MSC's environmental standard are awarded the blue MSC eco-label.

The oval label with the white fish hence indicates that fish specialities come from proven environmentally friendly, well managed and sustainable fisheries.
