REWE Markt GmbH Creates More Efficient Structures

REWE-Zentral AG and REWE DS KGaA have decided today to merge their business units Full-range National for Supermarkets, including the administrative subdivisions, logistics as well as the goods trading units in a joint subsidiary, which will in future be run under the name of REWE Markt GmbH.

This will increase transparency, streamline corporate structures and improve the management of the business units, which will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness. The merger will enter into force as soon as it has been registered in the trade registers competent for the headquarters of REWE-Zentral aG and REWE DS KGaA.
