The REWE Group successfully continued its course of profitable growth in the 2010 business year.With a turnover of more than 53 billion euros, the REWE Group is one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Europe. In 2010, over 80 years after its founding, around 336,000 people were employed at the REWE Group.

2009
REWE Group looks back on a successful business year. Turnover and profit are impressive proof: REWE Group is on the right track. The evidence is documented in the Annual Report 2009 which bears a programmatic title: "We Act." Programmatic because our common actions directed at serving our customers, securing our commercial success and benefiting our employees comprise the core of our corporate culture.

2008
Total sales of just under €50 billion make 2008 the most successful business year in the history of REWE Group. Modern stores, trend-setting service, innovative concepts, regional product lines and exemplary proximity to customers are only some of the many success factors of the company. But success is a matter of values as well as one of value. That is why REWE Group, for the first time, has published a separate Sustainability Report parallel to the Annual Report.

2007
The thorough re-structuring of REWE Group is bearing fruit: 2007 was one of the most successful years in the long history of the trading and tourism company. Besides the achievement of a new record turnover, also the earnings experienced a considerable growth. At the same time, the sustainability of REWE Group was further improved.

2006
This year's annual report takes a closer look at the subject of quality of life because our two main fields of business - trading and tourism and tourism - have an impact on quality of life each day. Offering the quality of life that customers want is REWE Group's central task: for the co-operative's members and employees, as well as for suppliers and manufacturers throughout Europe.

REWE Group has continued its course to more growth, as reflected in the Annual Report 2004. The Management Board has not attempted to achieve growth at all costs, but instead to strengthen the earning power of the overall company. Aside from achieving profitability, REWE Group also emphasised raising awareness of the firm, improving the focus of all its sales concepts and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of its organisation both nationally and internationally.
