Vita Norbert Fiebig

Member of the Management Board of REWE Group

Norbert Fiebig, born in February of 1959 in Mettmann near Düsseldorf, has been a member of the Management Boards at REWE-Zentral AG and REWE-Zentralfinanz eG since October 1, 2005. Holding a Diplom degree in economics, Mr. Fiebig was previously a senior manager at DER Group, and he has also been one of the spokesmen of the senior management for REWE Touristik since February of 2004; in 1997 he joined Deutsche Reisebüro GmbH (DER Group), Frankfurt/Main, as the Chief Financial Officer. In this post he was also in charge of the Human Resources, Controlling and IT departments at REWE’s travel and tourism branch.

Mr. Fiebig had previously served in various senior management positions at Mannesmann Group both in Germany and abroad before this finance expert joined the senior management at Ameropa Reisen in 1995. DER Group, which today includes the travel agencies and business travel services of Deutsche Reisebüro GmbH, Dertour GmbH & Co. KG, ADAC Reisen, Meier's Weltreisen, DER Reisebüro GmbH & Co. OHG with its travel agencies and the Business Travel division, has been a part of REWE Group since the year 2000.

As member of the Management Board of REWE Group, Norbert Fiebig is in charge of the areas of Finances, Corporate Controlling, Corporate Accounting and Legal Affairs besides the operative business unit of Travel and Tourism.
