Vita Armin Rehberg

Member of the Management Board of REWE - Zentral AG and of REWE-Zentralfinanz eG

Armin Rehberg has been a Member of the Management Board of REWE - Zentral AG and REWE-Zentralfinanz eG since January 2009. He is in charge of the "Discount National and International" division.

The former chairman of the senior management of the Nuremberg-based food chain discounter Norma can describe his professional career as a "typical career in discount" according to the motto: "quick, simple, and direct". After completing his degree in business administration in Frankfurt/Main, which he finished with distinction, the Diplom-Kaufmann (holder of a diploma in business administration) started his professional career at the company Aldi Süd in Germany and in the US. On 1 January 1996, the "born tradesman", who had already worked at Peek&Cloppenurg for three years during his time at university, went to the discount chain Norma where he was soon appointed to lead the company’s largest regional Bavaria division. Following his subsequent position as head of the central Sales division, he was appointed to the top management of the successful discounter.

Armin Rehberg, family father of two children, was born in Frankfurt/Main in 1965.
