General Management Programme

The fourth General Management Program (GMP) for young managers of REWE Group was launched in January 2011. REWE Group conducts the programme to support actively their top managers of tomorrow in the effective exploitation of their personal potential and in obtaining more advanced qualifications at many different levels.

The curriculum over a period of 18 months includes general management topics and the evolvement of social and leadership skills as well as strategic project work on behalf of the Management Board. The objective is to offer the programme participants, who come from all over the corporate group, a change of perspective so that they can experience REWE Group away from their own daily routines as well. First-class instructors are supported by a corps of REWE experts who are able to open the door to many deeper insights into REWE Group.

But at the heart of the GMP are the motivated participants, who secure the very best skills and tools for their future management responsibilities from both the programme content and the open sharing of ideas and experience with one another and with the REWE Group Management Board.
